ben's current work include sound and light installation, weekly internet
radio, experimental composition, improvised performance, and score based
performance. his sound works grew out of stone litho printmaking where process and destabilization held significance as parallel to itself. engaging indoor and outdoor space's with sound and light were informed from cycles of inking and surface reception, spacial sound fluctuated between existing sound fields, intervened environments, and disregarded ambiances. through the practice of installation and transmission, time becomes transparent and location transient, active, and physical.
his instruments include contact and microphones, radio, tone-arm,
lloopp, mixer, harmonica, inside piano, mini disc, acoustic guitar, harmonium, oscillator's, and various objects.

Gilles Aubry is a Swiss sound artist & computer musician based in Berlin since 2002. He uses field recordings, computer programming, surround sound, hacked electronics and improvisation to create live performances, sound installations and CD works.
In his work Gilles Aubry has been experimenting on auditory perception, space representation, site specificity, room acoustics, streams of information and interactivity. He has been involved in numerous collaborations with international artists throughout Europe, USA, Russia and Asia since 1995.
